The Experiment Canvas has two parts. Part 2 will guide you to record and summarize your experiment in one area. Use this to capture the results and next steps on the other half of the worksheet. Will you pivot, move forward, or redo the experiment?
As you continue to do experiments to test your assumptions, you’ll have multiple Experiment Canvases to record and track progress.

Share the experiment results
Add the experiment results, both qualitative and quantitative, to the right side of the canvas. Review with the group.

Summarize the conclusion
Did the experiment results match the hypothesis? Discuss whether the hypothesis was validated, invalidated, or inconclusive. Check the appropriate box.

Decide next steps
Define what the team will do next with your idea: will you move forward, pivot, or redo the experiment?

Update Riskiest Assumption
Refer back to your Riskiest Assumptions worksheet and update the status of the assumption. Determine which assumption is the next one to test.
